After facing health issues, I found myself experiencing hair loss, which can be scary for many women. While being unable to find the perfect products and listening to what customers wished they had, I set out to locate easily available, high-quality, and affordable hair extensions. Through my travels, I was motivated to open Loxxie, a one-stop-shop and full-service salon offering a wide range of hair extensions, wigs, products, and treatments to suit the needs and budgets of women everywhere. I went the extra mile, ensuring each product is the highest quality and fairly priced. Why? I’m a professional hairdresser with over 24 years of expertise in the field.

Non-Remy hair, Remy hair, and cuticle Remy hair are the three primary categories of hair extensions, each with its own advantages and disadvantages.
Smooth and created from synthetic (nonhuman) substances, non-Remy hair has quickly become a popular alternative to human hair. These extensions have a lifespan of one to two months before it becomes a tangled rat’s nest, needing replacement.
Remy hair is also silky smooth, as it’s made from human hair. It’s usually treated in an acid bath to dissolve the cuticles. When the hair growth’s direction becomes muddled, it’s necessary for the cuticles to get trimmed. These hair extensions, with proper maintenance, have a three to four-month lifespan. Remy hair tends to be thinner than cuticle Remy hair because the cuticles are removed.
Lastly (but not least!), is cuticle Remy hair, the finest quality of Remy hair available. The cuticles are intact and run in the same direction, making for a luxuriously smooth experience from scalp to ends. If maintained properly, Loxxie’s full-service salon can make it endure for six months to a year!
