Loxxie Premium Hair is our signature line of extensions. They are super soft and made from high quality,100% virgin cuticle human remy hair. With proper installation and care, Loxxie Premium Hair can last a year or more!
There are three main grades of hair extensions: Non-Remy (synthetic), Remy, and cuticle Remy. Non-Remy hair is silky smooth and is often made from a synthetic (non-human) material. Non-Remy hair is only good for one to two months before it can become very tangled, making a replacement necessary. Remy hair is also silky smooth but is sometimes processed in an acid bath to remove the cuticles. It is necessary to remove cuticles when the direction of the hair gets mixed up. With proper care, Remy hair can last three to four months before needing replacement. Because the cuticle is removed, Remy hair is thinner than cuticle Remy hair.
At Loxxie, we go the extra mile to ensure your hair is the best quality available which is why we are proud to only carry cuticle Remy hair. This is the highest grade of hair with no chemical processing done to remove the cuticles. Our cuticle Remy hair extensions are silky smooth from the root to the tip because all the original hair cuticles are preserved and running in the same direction. With proper care, these extensions can last up to six months to one year!
• Clip ins are easy to use and don’t require a professional to install. The extensions are sewn to a clip that snaps open and closed. Clips are placed at the root and secured by snapping the clip shut. Clip-ins are great for on the go, special events, or everyday wear.
• Machine Tied Wefts are produced by an industrial sewing machine that attaches hair to the weft. Machine tied wefts are heavier and denser and are not recommended for individuals with thin, fine hair. These wefts should be installed by a professional hairstylist and moved up every 6-8 weeks depending on hair growth.
• Flat Bonded Wefts are a combination of machine and hand tied wefts rolled into one. These wefts can be cut and customized and sit flat on the head once installed. Flat bonded wefts should be installed by a professional stylist and are often used in The Loxxie Method. Installation takes approximately 3 hours to complete. Wefts should be moved up every 6 to 8 weeks depending on how fast your hair grows.
• Hand tied Wefts are great for adding volume and length. These sought-after extensions are hand-made, lightweight, and lay close to the head. You’ll barely know they’re there! Hand tied wefts are used frequently in The Loxxie Method and should always be installed by a professional stylist. Installation takes approximately 3 hours. Wefts should be moved up every 6 to 8 weeks as your natural hair grows.
• Genius Wefts are lightweight, ultrathin, and can be cut and customized. Genius wefts are a great option for The Loxxie Method and should always be installed by a professional hairstylist. Installation takes approximately 3 hours to complete. Wefts should be moved up every six to eight weeks as your natural hair grows.
• I-Tips are small bundles of hair known as strands. The strands have pointy tip that are applied using a bead that binds the strand to your natural hair. I-tips should be installed by a professional hairstylist. Installation takes approximately 2-3 hours. I-tips should be moved up every 6-8 weeks depending on natural hair growth.
• Tape ins are 1-1.5” sections of hair that pre-taped with medical grade adhesive. The tapes are applied to natural hair to add volume and length. Tape-ins should be installed by a professional hairstylist. Installation takes approximately 2 hours. Tape-ins should be moved up every 6-8 weeks depending on natural hair growth.
• Ponytail extensions are great for a quick and easy hairstyle adding length and volume.
